The Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana gives small businesses — shops, traders, workshops, service providers — bank loans without any collateral or guarantor. SABloan matches you with the right partner bank and prepares your file so it is approved faster.
The Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) is a Government of India scheme that makes it easy for non-corporate, non-farm micro and small businesses to get bank credit. Loans are given by public and private banks, regional rural banks and NBFCs, without collateral, and are backed by a government credit guarantee fund (CGFMU). There are four categories based on the size and stage of your business, from Shishu for a new small shop up to Tarun Plus for growing businesses that have already repaid a Tarun loan. Mudra is not a subsidy scheme — the bank sets the interest rate — but it is the easiest way to get a collateral-free business loan.
| Category | Loan amount | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Shishu | Up to ₹50,000 | Starting a small business — a cart, a small shop, tools for a trade |
| Kishore | ₹50,001 – ₹5 lakh | Setting up properly or buying equipment and stock |
| Tarun | ₹5 lakh – ₹10 lakh | Expanding an established business |
| Tarun Plus | ₹10 lakh – ₹20 lakh | Only for borrowers who have taken and fully repaid a Tarun loan |
Interest rate, processing fee and tenure are set by the lending bank under RBI rules and depend on your profile. Many banks charge no processing fee on Shishu loans.
No property, gold or FD needs to be pledged, and no guarantor is required.
Loans are covered by the Credit Guarantee Fund for Micro Units, which makes banks more willing to lend.
Start a new business or grow one you already run.
Take a term loan for equipment, or an overdraft / Mudra card for day-to-day stock and expenses.
Move from Shishu to Kishore to Tarun, and then to Tarun Plus up to ₹20 lakh.
